Its panto time! Oh yes it is…
So, the surprise is out and our Panto has been announced. I hope you are all ready for our Christmas production of Cinderella and The Glass Baffie (tickets on sale now) written by the very talented Willie Christie and Directed by Rachel-Jane Morrison. The cast is in place, lines are being run, songs rehearsed and some questionable moves practiced!
There’s a whole lot of fun, fabulous costumes and fantasticical moments in store; with poor Cinders looking for love, Cheeky Buttons and his long suffering maw (or so she’ll have us believe-cue the over the top woe is me’s) Fanny. Then there’s Cinders step family, well what I can say about them-hmm, strap yourselves in, cue the boo’s and giggles galore, trust me-they’re a Panto by themselves!
Let’s also not forget Buckhinds finest Royal Family; The King and his high maintenance son , our Prince flanked loyally by their lackies consisting of the Princes’ Aide, The very methodical Royal Advisor and their very own Royal Guard-which heads up-good behaviour is advised as she’ll be watching!
Then there’s wee Fairy Gee & co ( I can’t divulge the co, that would ruin the surprise) who will bring with her a few surprises of her own, in more ways than one.
So we’re ready-let’s hope Buckhind is-to bring Panto back to you all this December. Look out for more blog posts, where I’ll be divulging more back stage secrets and shinanagins, there may even be some introductions to the cast. Stay tuned!
